Rayhana & Susu Tetek

Hahaha... that title has been in my head for days now.. haha.. of course no photos for this post again..

The only reason why I didn't have updated photos of the kids is that I misplaced the camera link to PC. Just moved to a new office room and things have gone missing for now... have to sort out my things first...

Anyways, back to the topic... on one of the days last week, Ja left her freshly squeezed breast juice at the office so.... there went Rayhana's next day's ration.

When she got home, me being me, forced her to squeeze whatever is still left in her breast to compensate for the two 100ml bottles in that office freezer.. hehe.. she only managed to squeeze about 40ml or so.. not enough for Rayhaha since she takes about 3 x 100ml during the day before Ja comes home every day..

So the solution... FORMULA! Bought the formula weeks ago as a back-up plan for things like this to happen... so the next day.. made the first batch.. 3 scoops and 180ml of water of Similac Eye Q. She drank only about 60ml or so... so had to throw the rest...

Next batch, 2-3 hours later... Rani the maid made 1 scoop x 60ml water and still, Rayhana could not finish it...

A few more batches of 1 scoop x 60ml water at 2 hours apart still didn't interest Rayhana... she kept on crying every once in awhile.. and felt restless throughout the day....

Then Ja came home... sumbat tetek kat mulut Rayhana....

Tengah-tengah menyonyot tu Rayhana stopped herself... bercakap-cakap ntah apa-apa ntah.. mengomen jer.. tak minum pun.. pastu mengomen lagi.. pastu baru sambung minum balik....
as if mengadu.. "People have been feeding me the wrong thing! This is what I want! Susu tetek!"

Now she's back on full breast milk... the formula expires 3 mth after opened so have to take note on that... kena buang kalau tak habiskan within 3 mths.

Woohoo Got My Guitar Hero!!

Woohooo!!!! Damn cool game! This is the closest I could get playing a guitar, let alone playing cool rock music in front of cheering fans!! hehehehe

Thanks Nana and Wa for bringing the Guitar Hero pack all the way from the UK and to Anaz for showing a demo how to play.. 'coz I am not so patient with manuals.. hehe

Spent the last 2 nights jamming alone hehehe...

The first night was when Anaz & Wa came with the game, Nescafe Cappucino packets, and some souvenirs... Anaz demo'ed, I tried my best only to hear Rayyan saying "Papa, YOU DIDN'T ROCK!!" haha

Last night Rayyan really wanted to put the stickers on the guitar. I made him finish his homework first while I take another round of the EASY mode. Hey, I've unlocked more songs now.. even defeated that Marcello or whatever his name guy on one-on-one jam-off hehehe

When Rayyan finished his homework and after a few "PAPA, YOU ROCK!" quips from him, we started "decorating" the guitar. Of course, I left out all those tengkorak-tengkorak laaa... this game has somehow several bad influences on kids... but tak kisahla.. bapak dia nak main.. hahaha

Rayhana & Roseola

Yesterday we brought Rayhana to see Dr. Musa 'coz she suddenly had rashes all over her body, especially around the neck and body for the past 2 days. That was like the 4th visit to the DSH this week! Nak buat camana... when you feel something's not right with any of your kids... bring them to see the doc! They know more!

This one's new to me. Rayyan had worse rashes before this but that one comes with the fever.. it was viral infection. Rayhana's case was different. She had fever for 3 days, and then on the 4th day when she had no fever, rashes started to appear.

It's called Roseola... (wiki it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roseola ) caused by a virus. Apparently this virus caused Rayhana to have that high fever few days ago and the rashes are in fact a good sign that she is recovering from the virus.

And here we thought dia dapat penyakit lain pulak...

Rayyan didn't go to school today. Nenek dia tak bagi pergi. He wanted to to though... camana ni? Actually he still had hingus and caugh... aritu dah bawak dia jumpa Dr Azizi and confirmed with him that I have been giving Rayyan the right medicine that we have in stock at home. But then hingus dia dah jadi hijau meleleh-leleh (according to my mom). I wouldn't exaggerate as such.. but anyhow.. seeing that this morning, my mom terus called me at the office saying Rayyan can't go to school today.

Maybe I need to ask Dr Azizi for antibiotics soon.

The whole family is sick since we got back from Cameron Highlands aritu... kesian kat budak2... I think it started from Rayyan. He started sneezing on that very morning that we were leaving for CH. Lepas tu semuorang berjangkit la...

Papa Launches MAINKATA while Rayhana was 38.5C

Just got back from Damansara Specialist... at 1.00am.. Rayhana got her first fever at 38.5C. That was in the midst of me launching my latest project... jeng jeng jeng... MAINKATA: Contest & Blog.

Oh back to Rayhana's condition, as soon as we got to the emergency area... waited for a bit and then a nurse called us up to sponge bath Rayhana while waiting for our turn to see the doctor... again.. so many kids needed emergency treatment.. kesian... victims of the "infected" air we breathe.. after sponge bath, the nurse sempat masuk ubat buntut.. hehe half dose of PCM supp.. if I'm not mistaken.. then waited awhile before seeing the doctor..

Rayhana was all her cheerful self.. especially after the bath (during the bath she was shivering).. talking and talking... whining about the bath.. and inside the doctor's room pun she was so talkative... smiling here and there... I think my visits to DSH have made my kids grown to love doctors haha

Alhamdulillah, Rayhana is asleep now.. temperature before she slept was 37C. Normal...

OK. Now, I have to get back to my marketing campaign for MAINKATA: Contest & Blog

Rayhana's Smile

Hehehe comeii gila... just have to put up this post. This photo was taken by Ja on her handphone. And since for some strange reason technically unknown to me that the photo can't be uploaded to the web, I had to send this photo to my phone and send it to my email.

I think this is Rayhana's cutest smile ever captured on camera. She is usually not camera friendly.. dah elok senyum2.. bila keluar camera je muka dah pelik semacam...

Anyways.. she is still batuk2 and selsema. Maybe we have to bring her to see the doctor again.. Dr Azizi (instead of Dr Musa) for chest checkup to see if everything is good to go for our Cameron Highland trip... hehe yes, cuti-cuti Malaysia hahaha and we got it cheap under RCI (SG$99 for one 3-bedroom apartment unit for the whole week).

Supposed to check in on the 6th (Friday) and check out on the 13th. While all of us are willing take a day off on that Friday the 6th, we're not willing to sacrifice Rayyan's day of school that ends at 4.30PM. So we'll check in on the 7th and since we have the Thaipusam holiday on Monday, we'll check out on that day... 2 malam okay la kan.. nak buat lama2 pun buat apa kat Cameron? hehehe

Still have not decided which route to take up the highlands... either through Tapah or Simpang Pulai... any ideas?? Preferably the one that would not make Ja puke all the way to the top... hehehehe
