Smart Kids @ PWTC

I actually wanted to go to Smart Kids more than buying the new camera. My purpose of going there was purely business. I don't think kids can enjoy much of the stuff there... being their size, a couple of hours walking smelling people's pants and skirts would get them suffocated. Gila ramai orang! And it's a paid exhibition. 4 bucks each adult.

There were lots of activities for kids. There were some great ideas in getting the crowd to participate but they just needed a bigger place. PWTC is no longer suitable for big crowds. PC Fair has shifted to KLCC Convention centre. Smart Kids should follow.

I wanted to collect as many brochures as I could for business purposes. I've a project coming out sometime in May or June that would cater for similar demographics as those people who paid 4 bucks and the kids they brought along. I guess I succeeded in my "research exercise".

AMD (the chip maker) set up a fighter jet simulator for kids... man the Q was looong. Rayyan got interested but I didn't think we could wait.. takut nanti bila dah sampai turn.. he lose interest pulak.. so we went on looking at other booths...

Ja was eyeing for the Munchies bag.. ingat diorang bagi free.. rupanya kena beli 10 bucks! Not bad at all.. a red bag filled with Munchies products.. a definite bargain! Dah seronok dapat bag tu Ja bought another bag.. full of junks! "Boro" ke ntah apa junk food ntah... takpelaa duit dia.. hahaha...

Oh, almost forgot. Rayyan participated in a game at one of the booths.. was it Perpustakaan Negara ke apa ntah... he had to throw a paper ball into one of the many plastic cups on the table. He got it and then he had to answer a question. The lady asked Rayyan to count "Satu sampai Sepuluh". He started with One... then the lady said.. ah oklah.. "One to Ten"... Rayyan got to "Five" when she gave him a blue cap as the present. That got him excited a bit..

So lepas habis kutip brochures.. apa lagi.. balikla.. one last pose before going back... Rayyan with his cap, and the tiny "surf's up" penguin at the PWTC entrance...
